Review of 2024 - A year full of growth and innovation
by Zishan Mahmood
The year 2024 is behind us, and we are looking forward to the new calendar year 2025 with great anticipation. 2024 was an eventful and challenging year for us as a young company, which demanded a lot from us, but also brought us many successes. Looking back, we can say that we have grown together as a team and achieved important milestones. We would now like to take this opportunity to look back on the past year.
Innovations
As a start-up, it is essential for us to continuously develop and expand our product portfolio. We also achieved significant successes in this area in 2024. Our existing pulsation-free evaporator became significantly more powerful thanks to targeted further developments. In particular, we were able to increase efficiency through coatings and other optimizations. Another highlight was the development of a flameless exhaust gas burner. The first test trials were successful and provided us with important findings for the next development steps. This progress motivates us to become even better in both areas in 2025 and to drive forward further innovations.
Networking and customer contact
We were also able to expand our network and acquire numerous new customers in 2024. The personal exchange at specialist events was of great importance. We were represented at the DECHEMA Forum, ACHEMA and REACT24. We were delighted with our successful first appearance as a start-up at REACT24 in Würzburg. The many interesting discussions not only provided us with valuable ideas for current research trends, but also facilitated new partnerships and contacts. At ACHEMA 2024, the leading trade fair for the process industry, we had the opportunity to find out about numerous innovations and exciting applications. The exchange with other experts from the industry was particularly inspiring. Finally, we had three intensive and enriching days at the DECHEMA Forum. The event provided us with an excellent platform to present our latest developments and at the same time gain valuable insights into current industry trends.
Cooperation with students
As our start-up originated from the University of Stuttgart, we maintain close contact with the teaching staff and students on site. And this year, we were able to support two students with their final theses. In collaboration with the Institute of Chemical Process Engineering at the University of Stuttgart, Lara Benke, a student of environmental protection technology, carried out her bachelor's thesis at our company. Her research task was to characterize the evaporation behaviour of our latest evaporator variants. She used various advanced techniques, including pressure measurement, mass spectrometry and thermography, to gain comprehensive insights into the performance of our developments. As part of another collaboration with the Institute of Chemical Process Engineering at the University of Stuttgart, Tim Irklweck began his Master's thesis with us. The aim of his work is the model-based development and description of a test facility for the inductive heating of catalyst materials on a technical scale.
Team growth
Our team has continued to grow in 2025. We are particularly pleased to welcome Holger Aschenbrenner to our company. As an expert in evaporator technology, he actively supports us in the further development of our products and brings valuable expertise to our team.
Looking ahead
We are entering 2025 with fresh energy and a zest for action. We are looking forward to taking on new challenges, reaching innovative milestones and continuing to grow together with our partners, customers and our team. Join us on this exciting journey!

Cooperation with LightPulse LASER PRECISION
LightPulse uses ultrashort pulse lasers to work surfaces on a nanoscale. A wide variety of structures can be processed with this precise tool. The properties of the surface can be changed in a targeted manner. For example, laser-generated structures can be used to make a steel surface water-repellent (hydrophobic).
